DRY SUCTION

MANUAL MODE

♦ During vacuuming it is not permittedto ever remove the flat pleated filter.

♦ A paper filter bag or a diaphragmfilter (special accessories) canadditionally be used to vacuum finedust.

Fitting the paper filter bag

¾ Unlock and remove the suction head¾ Attach the paper filter bag¾ Replace the suction head and lock it

in place

¾ Insert power plug¾ Switch on the machine and start

using it

AUTOMATIC OPERATION(ONLY NT 361 ECO TE)

¾ Plug the electric tool's power pluginto the vacuum cleaner (3)

¾ Switch the unit on (1)¾ The lamp is lit- the vacuum cleaner

is in the standby mode (2)

Note:♦ The suction machine is switched on

and off automatically with the electrictool.

♦ The vacuum cleaner has a starterdelay of up to 0,5 s and an after-running time of up to 15 s.

♦ Performance connection data of theelectric tool, seepage – Technical Data.

Adapt the connection sleeve to theelectric tool's terminal connection.

¾ Remove the pipe bend from thesuction hose

¾ Install the connection sleeve to thesuction hose

¾ Connect the connection sleeve tothe electric tool

Power Filter Clean

Your vacuum cleaner is provided witha new type of filter cleaner – especiallyeffective for fine dust.

The flat pleated filter is automaticallycleaned (pulsing sound) by an air blastif you press the remote control at thehand grip for several seconds

Switch Power Filter Clean onSlide setting (1) - downwards

♦ Actuate Power Filter Clean at regularintervals during vacuuming and afterfinishing the vacuuming job.

WET-VACUUMING

Fitting rubber lips

¾ Dismantle the strip brush (1)¾ Mount the rubber squeegees (2)

Note:The profiled surface of the rubbersqueegees must be on the outside.

¾ Remove the paper filter bag¾ Insert power plug¾ Switch on the machine and start

using it

♦ During vacuuming it is notpermitted to ever remove the flatpleated filter.

♦ The paper filter bag or themembrane filter (special accessories) must beremoved whenever vacuumingwet dirt. The use of a special filterbag (wet type) is recommended(see filter systems).

♦ The appliance is not switched offwhen the container is full whennon-conducting liquids(e.g. drilling emulsion, oils andgreases) are handled. The fill levelmust be regularly checked andthe container emptied before it istoo full.

Note:♦ When vacuuming wet dirt with the

upholstery or the crevice nozzle or ifpredominantly water is to bevacuumed out of a container it isadviseable to turn the - Power FilterClean – operation off. .

♦ The appliance turns itselfautomatically off when the max.liquid level has been reached.

♦ Switch the appliance off and emptythe container.

♦ Clean and dry the flat pleat filter andthe electrodes as well as thecontainer after finishing wetvacuuming jobs.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

♦ Always pull out the mains plug whenworking on the suction machine.

Replace the flat pleat filter or theexhaust air filter

¾ Open the filter cover (1)¾ Replace the flat pleat filter (2) or

the exhaust air filter (3)¾ Close the filter cover, it must engage

audibly

Clean electrodes

¾ Unlock and remove the suction head¾ Clean electrodes¾ Replace the suction head and lock it

in place

FAULT INSTRUCTIONS

The suction turbine does not run• Check the cable, plug, fuse and

socket.• Switch on the machine.

The suction turbine switches off• Empty the container.

The suction turbine does not restartfollowing emptying of the container• Switch the appliance off and wait

for 5 s, switch it on again after 5 s.• Clean the electrodes as well as the

space between them.

The suction power decreases• Remove the parts clogging up the

suction nozzle, the suction tube, thePower Filter Clean handle, thesuction hose or the flat pleat filter.

• Change the paper filter bag.• Actuate the filter cleaner: Power

Filter Clean several times at thehandle.

• Engage the filter cover properly.• Replace the flat pleat filter.

Dust ejects when sucking• Check the proper mounting position

of the flat pleat filter.• Replace the flat pleat filter.

The (wet-vacuuming) automaticswitch-off does not respond• Clean the electrodes as well as the

space between them.• Constantly check the filling level for

an electrical non-conductive liquid.

Power Filter Clean switchesregularly• Loosen suction nozzle or end of

hose when caught on vacuumedobject.

• Stop continuous vacuuming from theliquid container and turnthe operation - Power Filter Clean –off (see section Wet-Vacuuming).

• Remove the parts clogging up thesuction nozzle, the suction tube, thePower Filter Clean handle, thesuction hose or the flat pleat filter.

• Replace the flat pleat filter.
