recruit new donors
reach out to and engage younger donors
support and drive major donor relationships
generate legacy pledges
In memoriam donations come as
• A direct donation sent via the donor
• A collection undertaken on behalf of the family by the funeral director
• A collection sent in to the charity by the next of kin (or a close friend / relative)
Problems!A charity cannot:
• Gift aid the donation• Capture the data of the donors• Send a personal thank you • Start the relationship building• Check if they are an existing donor
