The main land route of cargo from the EU towards
Armenia is through Georgia. Cargo can be
received from multiple hubs in Europe and usually
arrives via Bulgaria and Turkey route to Georgia.
From Georgia cargo can be:
a. sent directly to Armenia
b. stored or processed first in Georgian Hub
and then sent to Armenia.
Vienna – Yerevan 3300 km: 9-10 days
Tbilisi – Yerevan only 300 km: 1 day
Moscow – Yerevan 2416 km: 5-6 days
Air Cargo (+ Land Cargo)
Air cargo can be received directly in Armenia or
received in Georgia and then delivered to
Armenia via land connection
Vienna – Yerevan 2336 km – 2-3 days
Tbilisi – Yerevan 300 km – 1-2 day
Sea Freight + Land or Rail
Armenia does not have a direct sea connection,
so Sea freight is received in either Poti port or
Batumi port and then sent to Armenia via Land or
Rail.

directly to Europe (neither is Georgian Railway),
but as there is a Rail connection between Georgia

Origin and goods specifics. Once the Product has been certified, it can move easily and be cleared faster, without going through the same
procedures.
