Die Kamlok Kupplungen haben Ihren Ursprung in den USA und sind sicherlich eine der meist verbreitesten kupplungstypen weltweit. Grundlage war die us norm Mil-C-27487 des amerikanischen Militärs.

diese us norm wurde 1999 durch die federal Mil a-a-59326A ersetzt.

durch die allgemeine standardisierung in europa ist 2004 die Norm EN14420-7 eingeführt worden, die die alte DIN 2828 ersetzt hat. Hauptunterschiede sind, dass die Innengewinde (A,+D Teil) mit einer Flachdichtung versehen sind und die Stutzen mit einem Sicherungsbund für Klemmschaleneinband (C +E Teil ).

Alle von MCC gefertigten Teile übertreffen die anforderungen der normen.

The Camlock coupling is originally from USA, and properly the most common and most used coupling system in the world. it was developed and founded in the us military norm Mil-C-27487.

This norm was replaced by the Federal Mil-A-A-59326A norm in 1999.

During the common standardization in Europe in 2004, the EN 14420-7 norm was made, and this new norm replaced the old DIN 2828. The main changes were, that the inner thread(part A and D) got a flat seal and the shanks got a safety collar for safety clamps (part C + E).

all of the MCC manufactured parts exceeds the requirements of the norm.

1. die norM:

Die bereits im 19. Jahrhundert von H. Guido Storz entwickelte Armatur hat sich gerade im deutschsprachigen Raum zu einer Universalkupplung entwickelt. Dieses einfach zu handhabende symmetrische Kupplungssystem findet man heute in fast allen Bereichen, wobei die Feuerwehr und Bauindustrie sicherlich als Hauptabnehmer zu nennen sind.Man unterscheidet sie durch unterschiedliche „Knaggenabstände“. Einige NW sind auch mit Buchstaben wie z.B. D-Kupplung versehen zur besseren Identifikation.

1. tHe standard:

Mr. H. Guido Storz developed as early as in the 19th century an universal coupling system for the German speaking part of the world. This simple-to-handle system is still widely used all over the world, especially in the construction industry and in firefighting equipment. The Storz coupling is manufactured with unique cleats distances, and the parts are marked with for example “D” to help with identification of various types.

Die Armaturen entsprechen den entsprechenden DIN Normen (Kupplungsteil), die Industrieausführungen sind Gußteile und weisen eine geringere Festigkeit auf.

The couplings corresponds to the relevant DIN norm, and the industrial types are casted parts and have a lower strength.
