5. Erkenntnisse zum Kollisionsrisiko• 2010 zwei belegte Unfallopfer (Fundkartei DÜRR 2010), davon ein 2008 besendertes Männchen
im Friedrich-Wilhelm-Lübke-Koog
• drei Vögel, aufgrund Obduktion und Fundumstände als vermutliche Kollisionsopfer eingestuft (Anhangsliste der bundesdeutschen Fundkartei )
• Dunkelziffer: Geringe Auffindwahrscheinlichkeit, die Art ist nur in der Vegetationsperiode anwesend
• Geringes Meidungsverhalten, große Annäherung an WEA

Salzwiese
Extensiv-Grünland
• Wiesenweihen-Aktionsräume in S-H umfassen 340 bis 1.560 ha (Kernel).
• Nahrungsgebiete: Salzwiesen des Vorlandes, großflächiges Extensiv-Grünland
• Windparks innerhalb des Home Range werden ohne Meidung der Nähe von WEA genutzt. Die Nutzungsintensität ist abhängig von der Lage des Aktivitäts-zentrums (Nestbereich) und der Nahrungsgebiete
• die Flughöhen liegen zu 60 bis 70 % unterhalb 10 m, der Gefährdungsbereich gängiger WEA-Typen (z. B. Rotor 20-100 m) wird relativ selten erreicht
• Im Bereich des Brutplatzes besteht ein Kollisionsrisiko
• Flugaktivität in kritischen Höhen konzentriert sich am Neststandort: 50 % liegt im Radius von 200 bis 500 m (Median 370 m) um das Nest
• Die Entfernung zwischen Nest und WEA ist ein entscheidender Faktor des Kollisionsrisikos
7. Zusammenfassung
• Schutzmaßnahmen sollen vorrangig langjährig besetzten Brutschwerpunkt-räumen dienen.
• Das Kollisionsrisiko kann durch räumliche Trennung von Brutgebieten und Windparks reduziert werden, aber: Brutplätze werden häufig gewechselt (Habitatabgrenzung)
• Erhaltung ausreichender unbebauter Brutgebiete mit geeigneter Struktur in den Kerngebieten des Vorkommens
• Schaffung, bzw. Erhaltung attraktiver Brutflächen durch geeignete Vegetationsstrukturen (z. B. Wintergerste)
• Innerhalb von Windparks keine attraktiven Nahrungsflächen schaffen
• Schaffung von Nahrungsflächen außerhalb von Windparks (ext. Grünland, Brache, lineare Säume), die Vögel lenken und von den Parks fernhalten
• Habitat-Management in Konflikträumen: gezielte Maßnahmen auf wechselnden landwirtschaftlichen Nutzflächen (Bruthabitat) und Randstreifen-Extensivierungs-Programme (Nahrungshabitat)
