The Broken Chain
We little knew that day, God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death, we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you. you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Reflections of Life
” I’m at peace at last you see, for my Father, He has rescued me. So, find
your peace in Him and you will see, He’s God that will rescue thee. So,
please don’t cry and mourn for me, for I’m at rest eternally.”
“Nell”

God Knows Best
God watched you as you suffered
and knew you had your share.
He gently closed your eyes
and took you in His care.
God has you in His keeping;
we have you in our hearts.
Your memory is our keepsake,
with that we’ll never part.
God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be.
He put His arms around you
and whispered, ‘Come with Me.”
With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands now rest.
Our hearts have been broken,
but we know, God knows best!
