Datenaustausch mittels Induktion
• For that purpose there are installed induction loops at discret points of the track, whose connections are conducted to the stationary control lines.
• The vehicles communication antenna, which is arranged near the steering antenna, sends and receives data telegrams to/from the induction wire over electromagnetic alternating fields (frequency range from 20 to 100 kilohertz, transfer range maximal 0,5m)
• Latter could be installed in the same ground slots, in which recline the guide wires of the track
• This process is characterized by a high dependence at the data transmission
52

• For the data transmission there are used electromagnetic fields in frequency ranges 144 to 146 megahertz and 430 to 440 megahertz
• Wireless processes are subject to authorisation, because the number of the frequencies which are available is limited
• The range is very high, but there can occur interferences by ”radio shadows”
53
UNIVERSITÄT STUTTGART INSTITUT FÜR FÖRDERTECHNIK UND LOGISTIK Institutsleiter Prof. Dr.-Ing. K.-H.
• Therefor a intervisibility between the transmitter and receiver is needed. The coverages are in the range of centimeters up to few hundert meters
• The system is not subject to authorisation• extraneous light part with a high infrared percentage can
derange the transmission
