Our Dear Linda“I stepped into Linda's job when she became the student advisor for the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences. (She was promoted from the School of Agriculture to the Faculty in January 1981.) I remember her as a warm and friendly person welcoming someone new to the university--just the way I know her today!”

Our Dear Linda“A special memory of Linda for me is how helpful she was to me when I moved to the School of Art from the Faculty. Her wisdom and guidance with the Course Sectioning File (CSF) system proved invaluable to me and the School of Art. She is heartfeltly referred to as the “CSF Guru” by me and the Director of the School, Dale Amundson. We will miss her but wish her the best!”

Our Dear Linda“My fondest memory of Linda is from the very first day I worked in the Dean's Office. She was the first person Crystal introduced me to that day, and she immediately made me feel at ease with her warm smile. I was flustered and worried about making a good impression, and I will always remember that she complimented me on my handshake - "nice and firm" were her words, I believe. I think she was lying - my hands were probably shaky, clammy, and weak, but I'll tell ya' - that little fib went a long way toward helping me through a stressful day!

Our Dear Linda“Great sense of humour and I found that her door was always open to answer any question. Will she continue to deliver “The Sun” so we can laugh at the cartoons?”

Our Dear Linda“As an advisor, she gave me the guidance and strength to overcome any obstacle. As a co-worker, she brightened each day with her brilliant smile and personality. And as my best friend, she gave me the most precious thing of all – her friendship.”

Our Dear Linda“Linda has the unique gift of not only celebrating her co-workers’ joys and triumphs, but recognizing and reaching out to us when we are tired, frustrated and at our wits’ end. My day has been brightened many times by a “surprise” chocolate bar left on my desk to cheer me up!
