5G ArenaStartschuss für die 5G in der IndustrieDie HANNOVER MESSE gibt den Startschuss für die industrielle Nutzung des superschnellen Mobilfunks 5G. Weltweit arbei-ten Entwickler an den Voraussetzungen für den Einsatz von 5G in der Industrie. Und in vielen Ländern starten die Ver- steigerungen der Lizenzen, in Deutschland Anfang April. 5G hat viele Vorteile. Datentransfer in Echtzeit auf Grund extrem kurzer Latenzzeiten, hohe Sicherheit und großes Datenvolu-men sind der Garant für einen Innovationsschub in der In- dustrie. Denn künftig sind auch Industrieunternehmen in der Lage, eigene 5G-Netze zu betreiben. Die HANNOVER MESSE greift diesen technologischen Trend auf und bringt ihn in der „5G Arena“ in Halle 16 in ein geeignetes Messeformat. Dort wird zusammen mit den Umsetzungspartnern Nokia und Qualcomm auf rund 1.500 Quadratmetern ein reales 5G-Netz installiert, in dem konkrete Showcases im Echtbe-trieb präsentiert werden.
