‘A new Era’ (Een nieuwe tijd) marks a special moment in what is nearly a hundred years of Grafisch Nederland tradition. Never before has a short piece of literary writing been the basis for this publication. The novella has been written specially for the purpose by Toon Tellegen, one of the Netherlands’ most celebrated writer-poets. Nine collectives and individual designers and artists have illustrated Tellegen’s story under the direction of Lava.
