1. BACnet Conformance Class Nach der neuen Version der BACnet-Norm ASHRAE 135-2004 werden zur Klassifizierung der BACnet-Geräte BACnet Interoperability Building Blocks (BIBBs) verwendet. Durch Zusammenfassen einzelner BIBBs werden funktionale Eigenschaften der einzelnen BACnet-Geräte beschrieben. Um das PICS allgemeingültig zu halten und Missverständnisse durch Übersetzung der BACnet-Norm zu vermeiden, erfolgt die weitere Dokumentation in englischer Sprache.
